Derala got very much damage after earthquake in gujarat in 2001. Many villages were damaged in all over Saurashtra region but Morvi and nearer villages got earthquake with some highskale. It is the picture of "Choro" in Derala which is Ramji mandir.

Sundar maa is the family goddess of The Mehtas. We got great fun when we visit Derala. The tample of Bajarang bali that is BODA HANUMAN is also there near derala. very peaceful place for enjoying with family... Whenever we visit Derala we always plan to take lunch at Boda Hanuman only. Our Elder Grandfather Dr. A. K. Mehta is localite of Derala Village. He everyday worships and prays at tample for peace and harmony of Mehta Family....
